PULHAM TERRACOTTA URN Description: Elegant 19th century tazza form stoneware urn with large ring handles and deeply lobed bowl. Stamped: “Pulhams...Terra Cotta....Boxbourne” Established in Broxbourne, England in 1945 the company was run for four generations producing an exceptional line of garden ornament, receiving several Royal warrants for works at Sandringham as well as Buckingham Palace. In 1939 on the eve of World War II the firm closed and most of the manufacturing site has since been demolished.
