19th Century Terra Cotta Urn by Doulton

Description:
An elegant and nicely detailed late 19th century terra cotta tazza form urn stamped "Doulton Lambeth". Founded by John Doulton in the early 19th century as Doulton & Watts Pottery, the firm became Doulton Lambeth around 1854. In the late 19th century it received a royal warrant and became the Royal Doulton Pottery Company.
