Crouching Venus Description: A well executed cast statue of the “Crouching Venus”. Made of now well weathered reconstituted stone, she is modeled after the original which resides in the Uffizi Museum, Florence. Initially believed by many to represent Venus immediately after her birth, and awaiting to be transported to land on a seashell she is shown here holding a bunch of grapes in one hand and a ewer in other.
