Ornate French 19th Century Entrance Gates Description: Magnificent pair of early 19th century French wrought iron entrance gates. Replete with a variety of skillfully executed hand forged ironwork techniques, the top decorated with exuberant volutes below a fanned crest, the same crest motif is repeated in the body of each panel and is surrounded by collar tied scrolls. All four beautifully crafted handles are original. These exceptional examples no doubt, originally graced the front approach to a fine home. Second quarter 19th century.
